Taken just a year before she died, this photograph shows Jane Morris looking rather frail, seated in a bath chair which she needed during her final years. Cecil Sharp, who stands on the far left, played an active part in the folklore revival of the early 1900s and was a keen promoter of traditional music and dance. From left to right: Cecil Sharp, W. Taylor, Mrs Hobbs, May Morris and Jane Morris.
