Between 1861 and 1863, Morris, Marshall, Faulkner and Co. undertook the decoration of the G F Bodley designed church,St Martin-on-the-Hill, Scarborough. William Morris, Dante Gabriel Rossetti and Ford Madox Brown designed ten panels for the pulpit, featuring eclesiastical figures, with Webb designing the background and decorative borders. These were painted by George Campfield, the firm’s foreman.
