Embroidery design produced for Morris & Co in the early twentieth century, featuring grapes and vines within a roundel. The design is inscribed with the initails ??H. These are possibly the initials of Elizabeth Hallum, an embroiderer and designer for Morris & Co. In 1940 when the firm closed she bought back some of her own designs and more by other designers. Her archive was given to the Gallery in 1988. An inscription at the bottom refers to the client Mrs Panny-Evans and sum of 5 shillings, probaly the sum paid for the design.
