This platinotype cabinet card shows Eleanor Sickert, the mother of artist Walter Sickert. It was taken in the studio of the well known nineteenth century photographer Frederick Hollyer, who also photographed the Morris and Burne-Jones families.

The photograph was in the collection of Effie Morris, William Morris’s sister.
