This was designed by Morris (WM81a) for the right-hand light of a pair of small windows in the chancel south side of St. Olave’s , Gatcombe in the Isle of Wight. The panel has quarries above and below, and an inscription: ‘And he was received up into heaven’. The companion light on the left shows the Maries at the Sepulchre with the inscription: ‘Very early in the morning the first day in the week’; the design for this is the same as that by Morris (WM 101) for St Michael’s Brighton, 1861.
