This bag is made of Arthur Heygate Mackmurdo’s Birds and Flowers velvet, produced by the Century Guild. It is stamped and embossed with a pattern of pairs of birds and sprays of flowers. The pattern has been higlighted with yellow stitching by its ownber Elinor Pugh, Mackmurdo’s neice.
