Pencil portrait of María Julia Martínez de la Hoz y Acevedo (1893-1949) in 1909 by the artist Augustus John. Martínez de la Hoz y Acevedo went on to become the Marquesa of Salamanca through her marriage in 1912 to Luis de Salamanca y Hurtado de Zaldívar (1884-30 September 1954), III Marquis of Salamanca.
