This design is a variation (for others see A194a and c) of a working drawing for the inlaid motif in satinwood on the top of a circular mahogany table now in the Gallery (G39). It was designed by Arthur Heygate Mackmurdo for the Century Guild. A194a, the closest of the three working drawings to the design as executed, does not show stamens in the flowerheads as in A194b.
