An identical drawing is in the Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge. It was given by the artist to C.A. Howell in recognition of help in recovering the manuscript book of Rossetti’s poems from his wife’s grave. BrD45 is apparently a duplicate, possibly by another hand.
