This printed cotton, designed by Arthur Heygate Mackmurdo for the Century Guild, has a graphic quality typical of the Guild’s proto-art nouveau designs, also seen in their book and furnishing designs. The fabric was available in red/brown ochre/pink, green and turqouise colourways.
